Welcome to the Sweet Home by SCD Blog! We are so excited to launch this blog alongside Sweet Home by SCD and Sarah Catherine Design Interiors. You may ask, “What is Sweet Home by SCD?” Let me tell you!
Sarah Catherine Design first stretched its wings in Nashville, but was later rooted in Birmingham, Alabama. Since that time, the SCD Team has grown and expanded its reach nationwide, and now presents a retail shop to bring you a touch of the SCD look! Welcome to Sweet Home by SCD!
SCD was founded in 2016, but the passion behind the brand was sparked at a young age for owner and founder Sarah Moore. Sarah graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s in interior design in 2009. She began her career in Nashville, Tennessee, working for both commercial and residential interior design firms. Her true passion, however, was in residential design, and since taking that route, Sarah has had the privilege of meeting and working with many talented artists and vendors, all equally driven to make ‘home’ a haven. She’s now placing their celebrated works at your fingertips–shop to get the SCD look!
We started this blog to go along with Sweet Home by SCD. We wanted a space to share a variety of content. Some blogs will be more design focused, while others with be decor related. We will have blogs sharing our favorite tips, tricks, and design hacks, as well as blogs that talk about our favorite go-to paint colors - and honestly anything in between! We will highlight product from Sweet Home by SCD, and share images that help you style those specific products. This space will also inform you of sales, new inventory, and new products coming to Sweet Home by SCD. Another reason we wanted to start this blog was to share some free design advice. There are so many questions we get regularly, and we thought this could be a great space to share our answers to your most asked questions!
